I love the almond hand and nail butter from The Body Shop (TBS). So when I came across the manicure set , I just grabbed it. :)  It is packaged in a rectangular tin with an easy to open lid. Nothing fancy here. Minimal effort is required to open the tin.  The tin carries a 100 ml almond hand and nail cream, a nail clipper, a nail buffer and a nail file.  So, that's my favourite hand cream and a manicure set and it retails for 4KD. Super affordable when you try to add up the price of each when bought separately. Yeah baby...I am buying it.  The nail clipper is of really good quality. No complaints regarding the nail buffer and nail file too. My most needed stuff is all put in a box - now I don't have to run helter skelter searching for a nail clipper or a nail file. How often have you fallen for the blabbering of the sales assistant and bought a product and ended up liking it? This is one such product from the The Body Shop. It is packaged in a tin tub with a screw on lid.Very compact packaging indeed for a product that is solid in consistency. As per body shop, it suits all skin types. And the expiry is 12 months from the date of opening. The cleansing butter is white in color with a very faint smell of chamomile. Its like butter but it feels lighter than butter. It melts when you rub it between your fingers. Just swirl your fingers in the tub, rub the product between your fingers and apply on the face. It just melts away all the make up. I tried using this product to remove long lasting foundations, waterproof mascara and long lasting lipsticks and it worked like a charm. This was one of those impulse buy product. I am always on the look out for cures to tame my frizzy hair. Sigh..It has a mind of it's own. Even after a generous application of conditioner post shampooing, it still frizzes out. grrrr. Ok...ahem...back to my post. TBS does have a Rainforest range of coconut oil but it isn't like 100% coconut oil. I spotted this while browsing the TBS. The Almond hand and nail butter from the body shop is definitely one of the best hand creams out there. I have dry hands and the cuticles also get very dry and this butter is a life saver. It contains sweet almond oil and brazil nut oil, both of which has moisturizing properties. Sweet almond oil is produced from almonds that are edible[bitter almond oil is from wild almonds]. Almond oil has excellent moisturizing property.Brazil nut oil hydrates and moisturizes the skin. A combination of both in one hand cream  = happy hands :). It is thick and creamy with a slightly sweet smell. It is not greasy and gets absorbed into the skin very easily. I keep washing my hands throughout the day and a tiny amount of this cream is required for me to keep my hands hydrated. As stated on the lid, it is suitable for all skin types. I have very dry skin and relocation to a country which has extreme weather conditions has made it from bad to worse. I was on the lookout for a solution to this. The brands of creams/lotions available in supermarkets gave only momentary relief; even those ones that are labelled as ' for ultra dry skin'. Vaseline is a good option but it leaves you feeling sticky and no way am i going to apply it on my whole body. This is when i came across the 'moringa body butter' from The Body Shop (TBS). It has a thick creamy consistency and it hydrates dry skin for 24 hours, according to the package; and it is oh so true. A small amount goes a long way. The cream is pale white in color and has a floral scent; not overpowering at all. My skin just soaks up all the goodness of the cream and looks supple throughout the day.
