I picked up this liquid lipstick during the recent sale in Boots. I have seen a lot of pics and reviews about the liquid lipsticks from Bourjois and I wanted to try one for a long time. They have a lot of shades to choose from and I ended up buying the No. 12 shade called beau brun. Now, the company promises light texture, extreme comfort and 24hour hold. It is packaged in a transparent tube and the cap color matches the lipstick shade (which is a big plus for me; you have an idea what the shade is before swatching rather than open up every tube to find out the color). That is how it looks once you open it. There is a 'chemical' smell which is annoying but is gone in a few seconds.The brush has a slant at the top and this makes the application of the lipstick a lot easier. With this brush, you can actually apply the lipstick tracing the lines of your lips without any bleeding and even the corners of your lips is easily reachable. The above pic ...

I do not consider eyeliner as a make up anymore. It is an integral part of my routine like a face wash or moisturiser.   I have tried a few eyeliners but was never really happy with any of them. The Lakme liquid eyeliner was my go to eyeliner since it did its job quite well until I was introduced to this eyeliner by the sales assistant in Boots. The Bourjois liner pinceau 16H eyeliner is available in black, brown and gold. I bought the ultra black one. The design is like a sleek pen. Now don't be fooled by the look of the packaging. The brush part is longer than the product part. You will feel that the product is less but it easily lasts for about 6 months. The expiry date of an eyeliner is 6 months and that is stated on the package.  The brush is amazing. It is of the correct length and thickness.
